Much rumored and awaited smartphone “ Motorola Moto X “ has officially been unveiled. The most special thing about this smartphone is that this is the first smartphone by Motorola which has been developed under Google’s Supervision. And also Google Moto X is the only smartphone till date by Motorola which is fully assembled in USA.

Display & Design

Motorola Moto X comes with a large screen of 4.7inch. It comes with AMOLED capactivie display with full RGB matrix. Talking about the resolution of the screen it is 720pixel. Overall Pixel density Google Moto X smartphone is 316 ppi. It has also got a brand new Gorilla Glass which is though being termed as Magic Glass due to curved design on the edges. The screen supports 16m colors.

Talking about the dimension of the smartphone, there it is 129.3mm x 65.3mm x 10.4mm . This smartphone weighs 130gms. Motorola Moto X has been made in a way that you can have your own customization. There are 18 options for the back panel’s color. You can also go for the desired front panel from either black or white color. Now a third area of customization is also there. You can choose over your own camera rims and the side buttons. You can also add your name or just a short message on the back.

Processor & OS

Motorola Moto X comes with a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960Pro Chipset by Qualcomm. It has got a dual-core Krait CPU with 1.7 GHz CPU. For the graphics parts, Google Moto X comes with Adreno 320GPU. This smartphone runs on the Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2. The preinstalled seems as the stock ROM but Motorola have tweaked it a little bit and added some of their own features. It is pretty much sure that it will be getting the Android 4.3 Update. Though not sure about the KeyLimePie OS, but it still can be assumed that Google Moto x Phone will be getting this update as well.

Memory & Camera
Moto X comes in two versions i.e. 16GB and 32GB models. None of them has memory expandable option. Talking about the RAM Moto X form Google comes with a 2GB of RAM.

Motorola Moto X comes with a 10 MP primary autofocus snapper. It supports features like Touch focus, HDR, Panorama Shots. One of the features of rear camera is 1.4 µm pixel size. It comes with a LED flash. The rear camera is capable of capturing HD videos at 1080p at 30fps. Moto X uses ClearPixel technology. This enhances the low light camera performance to a great extent. It has also got a 2MP front camera which also supports 1080 video recording.

Motorola Moto X packs up a 2200mAh Li-Ion battery under its back panel. It provide a backup upto 576hrs on StandBy mode and 13 hours of 3G talk time. Under normal usage conditions of this device the battery lasts for approximately a day which is very great.

Availability and Price of Motorola Moto X

Motorola Moto X will be available on USA carriers named AT&T, Verizon, US cellular, T-Mobile and Sprint. Talking about Motorola Moto X price, the 16GB version would be costing 200$ and the 32GB would be charging 250$ (A two year contract on both). Motorola Moto x will only be available in for regions of US, Canada and Latin America.
