CynogenMod 11 brings Android 4.4 Kitkat on Galaxy Grand Duos. Though this is not official CynogenMod 11 but so far this is a stable firmware and includes most of the features. This ROM is being continuously updated and is improved to remove any bug and other issues.

You will need a rooted smartphone before you can actually install Android 4.4 KitKat on Galaxy Grand Duos. If you haven’t already rooted Follow the link below.
Battery: You must have 70 to 80 percent battery charge. Though this process would not be consuming much battery and may account only for 5 or 6 percent of battery but still I would ask you not to take risk.
USB Drivers: Make sure you have USB drivers installed in your system for your Galaxy Grand Duos. Just like ADB drivers, there are some specific USB drivers for every smartphone. Backup: Take a complete backup before proceeding. So that in case if anything goes wrong, you will have your personal data.
